Marriott (MAR), one of the world’s most recognizable hotel brands, has done incredibly well since the pandemic, as its stock has surged over 175% since 2021. Marriott operates in over 140 countries around the world and has nearly 10,000 properties generating revenue for the company. In 2025, Marriott brought in $26 billion in total revenue and reported a net income of $2.7 billion, one of its best years ever (Marriott Investor Relations). To start 2026, the company beat analysts’ first-quarter earnings per share estimates by over 6%, which helped lead the stock price higher. Marriott will likely benefit from the projected 3.2% increase in international tourism to the United States for 2026, as over half of its locations operate in the US (International Trade Administration). The company is set to release its second quarter earnings in early August, which analysts expect to be higher due to more travel in the summer months (CNBC).
